Several weeks ago we learned about the power of our words. The children explored persuasive writing as they wrote to their favorite stores, restaurants, and companies. I sent out their letters and we have been patiently waiting to see if we get any responses. Well...the past week we have had several companies write back, send coupons, and even send gifts and gift cards! The children could not believe that real people had read their letters and even better, wrote back! We have heard from Meijer's, Starbucks, Wipe Out, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dave and Buster's, Glow Putt, Hershey's, Barbie, and American Girl!!
