New Year, New Crayons!

WELCOME BACK !!!

Each child came into the classroom with a huge grin and excited to see their friends! We started our day off with brand new seats. The children picked their own tables to sit at with their friends. Later in the day they got......brand new, pointy crayons!!! WooHOOOO!

 

We also reviewed our hopes for first grade from the beginning of the year. We put a sticker on hopes that have already been accomplished and reviewed the learning that has taken place so far!

 
We then read a book about a little boy who followed his heart and didn't care what anyone said to him. He wanted to dance and perform and that is what he did! The kids made new hopes for the remainder of first grade.

It was great day back!
